Robert applied design thinking, product strategy and execution craft to every step of the developer journey, and built a multi-disciplined design team to dedicated to evolve the Square Developer platform. Successfuly improvements included: a modern customer facing payments SDK product for mobile and web, re-imagined developer documentation, a new App Marketplace for developers to distribute to sellers, new developer dashboards and tools, and a developer platform specific brand and visual language.
Today, the developer platform has become a large part of Square's larger strategy to help sellers reach their customers in new and novel ways, while ensuring sellers never miss a sale.
